Iniciando Mayo, México seguía su curso. Mientras el gobernador de Puebla se dedico a ir al Oxxo en helicóptero, el gobernador de Sinaloa se dedico a esconderse de la DEA y el gobernador de Nayarit se dedicó a pisotear las playas públicas de Punta Mita; nosotros pusimos en alto el nombre de México y Puerto Vallarta fué lugar de encuentro de bailadores de Salsa, Kizomba y Bachata de todo el mundo, debido a que Chelo, Mau e Ixel, una vez más fueron los anfitriones del Festival SBK Vallarta.
¡Hoy es tiempo de cambiar las monedas por canicas, las telenovelas por caricaturas y las juntas de trabajo por recreo! Hoy en México, celebramos el Día del Niño. Y que mejor manera de celebrar, que bailar. Así que móntense en su triciclo y vamonos a bailar como mocosos.

Thanks to Azul, Ivette, Jaime, Víctor and all the team of Somos Teatro that gave me the opportunity to start in this great experience of acting. Thanks to La Bodeguita del Medio for allowing me to be your default teacher for all these years. Thanks Maeva and Francia for helping me out with all these Bodeguita classes. Thanks to Jess and Henry my roomies for helping out with La Maison du Tango and with Rumba. Thanks to Tere and all the team of Elforoteo for all the nice coffee and food (a lot of food) in all this year. Thanks to my friends Aldahir, Karla, Joe, Francesca, Fanny, Alfredo, Cheko, Sofi, etc for sharing with me this cool birthday trip. Thanks to all my friends and my family friends for supporting our family in these though health times and in the passing away of our grandmother Vicky. Thanks to my Dad Emilio, to my mom Lety, to my sister in law Pris and to my brother Josh for their support during the hard times and on all the new adventures I take. I know, it was already a long time ago, but pretty much as there were many things going in my life, I was not able to talk to you about my wereabouts during the SBK Congress where for a third time, I gave a Rueda de Casino workshop and for the first time, I performed as a fire dancer. So, let me get straight into the info:
I have felt very fortunate to have been able to be present with all the family and friends I have here in Puerto Vallarta and neighboring villages during all this december.
I have a lot of people I love who live in other cities, countries or even continents and I couldn’t see them for the Christmas hug because I haven’t developed teleportation skills yet and I might not be able to do it.
Without stopping to work at Alalibre and in the dance classes, I had to drink some extra coffee to try to go to all the Christmas parties I was invited. Unfortunately I couldn’t go to all of them, so I apologize for the Christmas parties I was asked to attend and didn’t go to. I’m glad I was able to see through social media how much fun you all had at these parties.
I know that some of you didn’t have such a great time, or recently lost a loved one. To all of you who have experienced this, I send you a double hug and, even if it’s from a distance, I offer you my support remotely. You might know that in my family’s case, our Batman’s grandmother is still alive but with very very bad health, and that’s why I can feel what you are going through. And although I went to many parties, I spent the Christmas eve at the batcave (That’s where Batman’s grandmother lives) and I felt asleep beside her bed.
For those of you from the Tango community in Puerto Vallarta , we also lost recently Albert, one of the pioneers of Tango in Vallarta. So I send a warm hug to his wife Barbara and to all of Puerto Vallarta‘s Tango community.
But the idea of this post is to cheer up hearts, so I’m sharing with you some happy Christmas moments that I experienced here at the ranch. Have a nice time and always remember to give a little something to all those people who have been behind you, loving you and supporting you.

Me he sentido muy dichoso de poder haber estado presente con toda la familia y amigos que tengo acá en Puerto Vallarta y ranchos vecinos durante todo este diciembre.
Tengo mucha gente que quiero y que vive en otras ciudades, países o incluso continentes y pues no los pude ver para el abrazo navideño ya que aún no desarrollo habilidades de teletransportación y quizá no lo logre.
Sin dejar de trabajar en Alalibre y en las clases de baile, pues tuve que tomar un poco de café extra para intentar ir a todas las posadas a las que fuí invitado. Desafortunadamente no pude ir a todas, así que pido perdón por las posadas a las que fuí requerido y no fuí. Me alegro de poder contar con las redes sociales y poder ver como se la pasaban bien Suavelastik en estas fiestas.
Sé que algunos no se la pasaron tan chévere, o recientemente perdieron a algún ser querido. A todos ustedes que les pasó eso, les mando un doble abrazo y aunque sea a la distancia, les ofrezco mi apoyo remotamente. Saben que en nuestro caso familiar, nuestra abuelita de Batman sigue viva pero muy, muy grave y pues por eso empatizo con lo que están pasando. Aunque todo mi diciembre estuvo lleno de fiestas, mi tarde del 24 de Diciembre fué muy tranquilo en la Baticueva. (La Casa de la abuelita de Batman). De hecho me quedé dormido junto a ella en su cama.
También recientemente perdimos a Albert de la comunidad de Tango en Puerto Vallarta y le mando un cálido abrazo a su esposa Barbara y a toda la comunidad de tangueros Pata Salada.
Pero la idea de esta publicación es alegrar los corazones, así que les comparto algunos momentos navideños felices que viví yo acá desde el rancho de los Patasaladas. Pásenla bonito y recuerden siempre darle (un detalle o un detallón) a todas esas personas que han estado detrás de ustedes, queriéndolos y apoyándolos. Saben que si están leyendo esto, es porque yo se los envié y se les quiere. (Aunque quizá algunos están leyendo esto mientras buscaban otra cosa en Internet)

Tarde sin sueño, me pongo al corriente con el Blog. Ésta vez para platicarles sobre el congreso de baile de Salsa, Bachata y Kizomba (SBK por sus siglas en francés) que ocurrió una vez más este año 2024 en México.
