To all my friends celebrating it, Happy Thanksgiving!🦃🍁
Maybe it’s very far from the original meaning with the pilgrims and the early colonizers of North America, but I view Thanksgiving Day as a great opportunity to show thankfulness to all the good things happening in my life this year. So let me share some of them with you guys.
First of all, I have to mention that starting the year, I was having a severe injury in my abductor muscles in my left leg. The pain sometimes was so much that I sadly though I was not going to be able to dance again, or at least not with the frequency and enthusiasm I used to do it. Luckily, life sent me to Doctor Zedillo and his team of rehabilitators at Vitaltres who put me back in track. Now I am dancing again. I joined Luis Medina‘s jazz dance training and I am back dancing mostly Salsa and Bachata back like in the old days. Thank you!
Another chapter that changed this 2022 in my life is that at last I had the final break-up with my Ex: Carmen. I won’t get into the details but I want to thank her for all the good, lovely moments we spent. I am glad she moved on, and it’s back for me to move back on. For all the good moments, Thank you!
Coming to this inner peace, was not easy. So I need to give thanks too, to my pshychologist Cristina from Vitaltres, who has been always listening to me with this. I also want to thank my family Lety, Emilio, Josué, etc as well as some of my friends Arely, Tere, Maeva, Fanny, Francia, etc for showing me their support and helping me to move on. Thank you!
Part of moving on, it’s the word “move” which for me means travel. So luckily and after the Covid19 lockdown, so I was blessed to visit a place in Mexico that I wanted to visit for so long, the Copper Canyon. I did that on the famous Chepe Express and part of me doing that, was thanks to the invitation from my friend 루나레티 (Lety Luna). Thank you!
Not being enough with that wonderful trip, I got a second trip, now international. This 2022, I added Colombia to my list to visited countries in the world. To achieve that, I have to say that I am grateful with the friends that went there and inspired me to go. And I have to be grateful to my German friend Nina who was there at that time and helped me to have a great time in Cartagena and my friend Edgar from AIESEC who helped me in the planning. Thank you!
I am grateful to live in the beautiful Puerto Vallarta! I am grateful to work in dance and tourism, 2 fields that I love! I am also grateful for my wonderful and very supportive family that I have and for having the friends I have. Thank you!
Happy Thanksgiving!🦃🍁
