I am a volunter for dance classes at RISE children’s shelter and they are looking for volunteers for the kids’ homeworks & for activities. If interested in helping, contact me for more info.
De las cosas que me han gustado, es que la mayoría de los niños se muestran interesados en la clase la mayoría del tiempo. Incluso hay una adolescente que ya quiere tomar más clases de baile y la directora del plantel ya está viendo si meterla a alguna de las academias que le recomendé. También me alegra mucho que los niños también le entran al baile y ya no tienen ese taboo de antaño de que los niños no bailan.
One of the things I like is that most of the kids have been interested in the class for most of the time. There is even one teenager girl that wants to take more professional dance classes and the director of RISE is already looking some of the academies that I suggested to her. I am also glad that many male kids are also joining the dance and they don’t have that taboo from our time that boys do not dance.
