Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Finally, I had I pulled off some time to go and watch the Super Mario Galaxy movie that is a blockbuster hit in Mexico and my first reason to return to the movie theathers on 2026.

I went to Cinepolis because I really loved the first Super Mario Bros movie as I told you in an old post. This movie pretends to keep using the old nostalgia formula, introducing some beloved characters as Yoshi and Rosalina, plus some very forgotten characters as those that appeared in the forgotten Super Mario Bros 2 videogame such as Mouser, the mouse with sunglasses that throws bombs or Wart the Toad King. Stay for the end credits to watch princess Daisy deal with a pickpocketer monkeykey.

Although I was a huge fan of the first movie, I feel that this second movie lacks some of the cool jokes done by Donkey Kong and Bowser in the first one, plus it lacks a cool catchy song like that love song performed by Bowser (Jack Black). I felt the movie was a like a lot of sugar rush for a kid (like me, ha ha) but that will not prevail in the memory as the first one. However, this movie is making a lot of people, at least in Mexico, to return to themovie theathers.
