La Herencia de Mi Mamá

No lo había compartido pero resulta que mi mamá si me heredó algo después de todo. Dejó oleos, acrílicos, gises, pinceles, caballetes, paletas y demás cosas para pintar que según esto le dijo al Inge que me los diera a mí. (Bueno, estoy casi seguro que el Inge no los utilizaría). 

Así que hasta el Mictlán, gracias madre por tu herencia. Pintaré muchas cosas con todo esto, aunque no tan bonito como tú lo hacías. Te extrañamos. 

I hadn’t shared this before, but it turns out my mom did leave me something after all. She left behind oils, acrylics, pastels, brushes, easels, palettes, and other painting supplies. She apparently told my dad to give it all to me. (Well, I’m pretty sure my dad wouldn’t have used them anyway). 

So, all the way to Mictlán: thank you, mother for this legacy. I’ll paint plenty of things with all these, even if not quite as beautifully as you did. We miss you.
