Hello my dancing bunnies!
Easter has begun with shocking news for the world and the galaxy.
The President of the USA and FIFA Peace Prize winner, Donald Trump, shouted: “Open the f***ing strait, you B@§ŧ@®d§ or you will live in hell” and threatened to turn the world upside down. Meanwhile, the astronauts aboard the Artemis II are literally upside down in space, taking some very sexy photos of the Moon. And here on Earth, I am dreaming of the space while watching The Super Mario Galaxy, where our favorite mustachioed hero travels to space to rescue (again) the Princess.
Regarding, my very local news, after coming back from a cool camping at the beach with my friend Ana, my dog Rumba and her dog Gigi to run away during the busy passover weekend in Puerto Vallarta, I am starting April with some cool proyects ahead: I continue as usual with my dance classes at La Bodeguita del Medio and at Big Steps. I also continue with my TV segment on Wednesdays at TV Mar Puerto Vallarta where I teach dance to the artists there.
On the 17th, 18th and 19th of April, there is a cultural festival called “Pata Salada Fest” where many artists involved in painting, sculpture, music and dance will show they work. As part of the Big Steps Dance group, I am going to present 3 choreographies: One where my colleages and students Francia and Aldahir will perform a merengue, one where I will perform a bachata with my friend Rachael, and another one with a Cuban Salsa with all the students. I am very excited about this.
I am also having a quick trip on mid April to Guadalajara to attend a Cuban Salsa Workshop with Cuban Stars Indira and Jorge, a giant Rueda de Casino and a Cuban Salsa Party. So if you happen to be in Guadalajara on the last weekend of April (25th and 26th), let me know and we might meet there.
I am also having some new dance and theatre proyects. One of this proyects is a theatrical show called “Corazón de Tango” by Alejandra Intile. There, I will dance tango in a musical about an Argentinean lady in a camerino who is remembering her younger days as a popular tango singer and her former lovers. And I will be in another very big proyect with Somos Teatro company for the end of the year where I am going to be an actor and choreographer of a musical talking about love in a hotel in Puerto Vallarta. Maybe the play is going to be called “Sólo a Meseros“.
My family is doing very well in despise of the health issues and life is good as always. I am wishing you are having a lot of cool stuff coming up. Wish me luck with all my projects.
