Thanksgiving day is a celebration that doesn’t form part of my national heritage. But as a citizen of the world, I have adopted several celebrations from other countries and I have customized them to my own standards.
So, besides the act of sharing, I use thanksgiving as an excuse to say thanks to all the people that have been influential in the year. So here I go…

The holidays are coming to an end and with it, the opportunity to learn some more skills in the new school year of the Los Mangos Library. The Library offers several language, music, plastic arts, theater, and dance workshops. Among the dance workshops, there are my Cuban Salsa classes and ballroom dancing. These workshops begin on August 20. They are Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm and have a cost of $ 70 pesos per class or $ 400 per month. Part of the proceeds goes to the preservation of our library. Gente de Vallarta, Bahía de Banderas y turistas del mundo, hoy en el día de los oceanos proponganse hacer algo por protegerlos.
Reduzcan su uso de plásticos, no usen popotes, carguen un termo y no compren aguas enbotelladas, dejen limpias las playas cuando las visiten, prefieran negocios que han reducido su uso de plásticos.
Si seguimos como vamos, en el 2050, habrá más plásticos que peces en el oceano.

People from Puerto Vallarta, Banderas Bay and tourists from all over the world, today in the World Oceans’ day committ in doing something to protect them.
Reduce your use of plastics, do not use straws, carry a thermos so you don’t buy bottled waters, leave beaches clean when you visit them, choose businesses that have reduced their use of plastics.
