Happy Thanksgiving!

To all my friends from USA, Happy Thanksgiving day!

Despise the origins of the celebration, this day is a cool day to say thanks to all the cool things and blessings that you have received in this year.

Thanks to all my dance students for following my classes and supporting me in some crazy adventures: Thanks to Gaby, Eric and all the fire friends for teaching me the mystic art of fire dancing. Thanks to Chelo and Mauricio for giving me another opportunity to teach and participate in one of the coolest dance congresses in the country. Thanks to Angela for believing in me and for all your teachings in fire and spirituality. Thanks to Shirley for being my Yoga Guru this year. Thanks to Luis Mario and Big Steps for the dance training and the opportunity to keep teaching. Thanks to Azul, Ivette, Jaime, Víctor and all the team of Somos Teatro that gave me the opportunity to start in this great experience of acting. Thanks to La Bodeguita del Medio for allowing me to be your default teacher for all these years. Thanks Maeva and Francia for helping me out with all these Bodeguita classes. Thanks to Jess and Henry my roomies for helping out with La Maison du Tango and with Rumba. Thanks to Tere and all the team of Elforoteo for all the nice coffee and food (a lot of food) in all this year. Thanks to my friends Aldahir, Karla, Joe, Francesca, Fanny, Alfredo, Cheko, Sofi, etc for sharing with me this cool birthday trip. Thanks to all my friends and my family friends for supporting our family in these though health times and in the passing away of our grandmother Vicky. Thanks to my Dad Emilio, to my mom Lety, to my sister in law Pris and to my brother Josh for their support during the hard times and on all the new adventures I take. Thanks to all of you that I am sure I am missing here.

And thanks to you if you are reading this!

Posada para Clientes Platinum de Elforoteo

Si eres de esas personas que como yo, no puedes comenzar tu día sin beberte una (o 5) tazas de café y preferías hacerlo visitando una rica cafetería como la de Elforoteo Café, entonces lo más seguro es que para estas alturas del año, ya te hayas hecho amigo, amiga o amigx de varios clientes que frecuentan Elforoteo, incluyendo a Pris, Josué, Tere o varios de los que ahí trabajamos.

Ahora que se respira la navidad en el ambiente, como que se antoja tomarse un chocolatito caliente con los amigos que hemos hecho por todos lados, incluyendo los amigos del café, a los que quizá ven más seguido que a su propia familia. Es por esto, que convocamos a todos los clientes platinum y platinum plus de Elforoteo a que asistan este próximo jueves 19 de Diciembre 2024 a las 8pm a que convivan (y conbeban) con nosotros. No habrá baristas sirviendo café ni cocineras preparando cenas, es más bien para que ellas y nosotros traigamos una bebida, o alguna botana o unos tamalitos para compartir.

Moto Naranja y Salsa Pública en Bucerías/Orange Bike and Public Salsa at Bucerías/Moto Orange et Salsa Publique Au Bucerías

Cansadas de que todos los eventos de Salsa y Bachata ocurren siempre en Puerto Vallarta y en Sayulita, un grupo de chicas aficionadas al meneo convocaron a todos los salseros de ranchos vecinos, a ir a Bucerías a bailar en un espacio público.
Fatigué du fait que tous les événements de Salsa et Bachata ont toujours lieu à Puerto Vallarta et Sayulita, un groupe de filles qui aiment bouger les hanches, a appelé tous les danseurs des villages voisins à se rendre à Bucerías pour danser tout la soirée dans un espace public.
Tired of the fact that all the Salsa and Bachata events always take place in Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita, a group of girls who are fond of shaking her hips, gave a shout to all the salsa dancers from neighboring villages to go to Bucerías in the weekend to dance during the eve in a public space.

Thanksgiving

Cuando era más jóven, la fuente original del día de Acción de Gracias se me hacía una celebración hipócrita estadounidense: Los peregrinos haciendo una cena de agradecimiento con los indios nativoamericanos después de haberlos asesinado, humillado y despojado de sus tierras.

Afortunada o desafortunadamente ese tema ya fué un poco olvidado y ahora se ha convertido en solamente una fecha para estar con la familia y amigos y agradecer las cosas buenas que te han pasado este año y las cosas no tan buenas que te han hecho aprender.
