The Two Popes

Yesterday I saw The Two Popes on Netflix and I loved it. Jonathan Price is outstanding as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio (later Pope Francis). And Anthony Hopkins makes an impressive amazing job as Pope Benedict XVI. (Sometimes I was believing I was seeing the real Ratzinger in person). I see why Hopkins is nominated to the Oscars 2020. Both actors bring to life many different perspectives to these two interesting person. The movie points softly but obviously the current problems of the Catholic Church.

Dora la Exploradora

We just saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold. I thought I was going to be bored and the characters will be to cheesy, but it was surprisingly fun. (They even made fun of Dora’s cheesy personality).
Besides, I loved to see many Latinos on the film such as Eugenio Derbez (The Linguistic), Michael Peña (Father Dora), Eva Longoria (Mother Dora), Isela Vega (Old lady), Danny Trejo (Monkey Dora) and Benicio Del Toro (Narrator)
 
Vimos Dora y la Ciudad Perdida. Pensé que sería una película aburrida y ñoña y fué sorpresivamente divertida. (De hecho hasta hacen chiste de la ñoñez de Dora.).
Además, me encantó ver a tantos latinos en la película como a Eugenio Derbez (El Lingüista), Michael Peña (Papá Dora), Eva Longoria (Mamá Dora), Isela Vega (Anciana), Danny Trejo (Chango Dora) y Benicio Del Toro (Narrador)

Cuban Salsa Classes at Los Mangos Library

Salsa Casino and Ballroom Dance classes at Los Mangos Library.

The holidays are coming to an end and with it, the opportunity to learn some more skills in the new school year of the Los Mangos Library. The Library offers several language, music, plastic arts, theater, and dance workshops. Among the dance workshops, there are my Cuban Salsa classes and ballroom dancing. These workshops begin on August 20. They are Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm and have a cost of $ 70 pesos per class or $ 400 per month. Part of the proceeds goes to the preservation of our library.
